Pros and cons of Cal – Shared Calendar, Daily Organizer, Weekly Planner app for iPhone and iPad
Cal – Shared Calendar, Daily Organizer, Weekly Planner app good for
Excellent! Very useful easy to use! Would highly recommend it!
I really love its very clean look. I can find my appointments much easier than in Appless calendar. No issues whatsoever. Keep up the good work.
Cal integrates well with Any.Do, as well as the native iPhone calendar app. Occasionally there are bugs that make it hard to browse future dates past the current week.
I like a lot of things about cal. But it does have issues. Creating am event takes awhile to actually save it. Changing one takes awhile for the change to show also. Please include a custom repeat for events also. Keyboard when creating an event someones is bigger than me iPhone 6 plus screen. Etc.
I really want to keep using this app though so please continue to work on the app.
Thank you
I dont even use the iPhone calendar, this one syncs right to it. It easy and it will make you want to use it and not forget important dates.
I love the simplicity of the app, I can create my calendar events quickly. I especially like the alert options giving you 3 alert times. However with the latest iOS update the new calendar entries dont show up in the calendar, please can you release an update to sort this out... Thanks
Some bad moments
I agree...enough with the pictures. At least let us add our own, or better yet shut if off completely. Even with location services on and allowing the app to use my position, it cannot get my location correct. Its got me some 800km away.
When an item is completed and swiped in any.do I would like cal to store it as a completed diary entry instead of removing it.
Apple really needs to look into this app. While there Is an option to disable access to your cellular data, the app ignores your setting change and reverts the setting back to enabled. In addition, the app will notify you the day before every holiday in the country you reside. Today was a provincial holiday in many parts of Canada and every province calls it something else. So... Yesterday at 9am my phone went nuts with notifications. The thing is, I deleted those events and I disabled holiday notification.
Unfortunately I am currently tied to this app. I need to find something better or figure out how to make my own, Im sick of this crap.
Its dead. Even sending Feedback bounces. And its a shame because Cal was awesome. The lack of service and attention to Cal & its audience is embarrassing. Left as is, the features are bugs; & you can forget about the the courtesy of a reply. Alas, Im now deleting & moving on, never to look back again. Whats the point? When users are disregarded, others will well regard them.
It was all going till that bug showed up to set the things on 15:00 no matter what you choose
Unreliable, cal moment wont happen when scheduled, cant add events in this app-they wont stay, etc. exactly what Im looking for, just wish it worked well consistently.
The very first screen did not even recognize my usual gmail address! I triple-checked spelling & punctuation.
