Cal – Shared Calendar, Daily Organizer, Weekly Planner App Reviews

Keeping It Simple just the way I like it.

I like the look but what I like best is that it works with Waze, my navigation app. I just love being able to enter a name from my contacts then tapping the address and Waze opens automatically to get me there. (For some reason one of my regular appointments is not recognized as a local address but since thats the only one…) Its easier for me to enter my appointment into the Apple iCal, then the appt transfers automatically to Cal which takes care of reminding me and getting me driving directions. I have not had the crashing and other problems that others have reported.

When I launched Cal for the first time, it played loud music on the splash screen. Unnecessary and annoying. Dont install during a meeting! I deleted the app immediately.

Ive waited awhile to review it because I wanted enough experience with it to understand its advantages. The summary of the days upcoming events which shows in notifications is really useful. I like the integration with maps, which makes it easy to navigate to appointments. The UI took some time to get used to and it was worth the effort. Finally, integration with DO is very cool. Nice job.

This is a well designed app that integrates very well with any.do. I cant recommend it more highly

I used to love all the photos and simplicity of the design, but it freezes almost every time I open it and has gotten so slow. Also, is it possible to vary the frequency of events, like every 3 weeks? Currently, its only monthly, 2 weeks etc. I still use it over every other calendar app because I do like it, but its embarrassing standing there trying to check your schedule and the person is waiting 30 seconds for you to just look at your calendar.

I love this app! Perfect for my every day need. It automatically adds appointments and events from my emails. Keeps me updated every morning, which I love. Perfect app, 5 stars!

Its been my favorite Calendar app so far! Love that it connects with navigation so well! And the interface is great!

So many great things going for this app. Its beautiful, its easy to use, it integrates nicely with Any.Do, it syncs with my Google calendar (a deal maker/breaker for me), and, of course, its free. My FAVORITE this about this calendar is the fact that it shows blocks of "free time", which allow me to plan to dos much easier. My biggest complaint is that the date on top and the agenda on the bottom frequently dont match up. Luckily, I always know when its wrong, so I just click a different date to allow it to refresh, and then go back to the date Im looking at. It always fixes it, but its annoying that I have to take that extra step.

I want to love this app, but...its been dropping events from the calendar. It ends up saying "new event" at weird times. When I see that, I panic as I know Im missing important entries that had been made on the calendar but disappeared! Ive emailed support two times without any response back.

Really like this app, BUT...I really wish it supported the iPad. Other than that its excellent. Once they create a universal app which supports the iPad itll get 5 stars.

Good app so far. -1 star for no widget. Ill fix that when a notification panel widget comes.

I have so many details in my life that I need to keep up with. Dont we all? What a huge help Cal has been to me. It is both beautiful and intuitive.

Great that it works with any driving app (waze).

It doesnt show the current date as a badge on the icon. Annoying.

Very buggy. Deleted it and downloaded again and still crashes on opening.
