Cal – Shared Calendar, Daily Organizer, Weekly Planner App Reviews

Stylish, functional, and reliable - great app. The fact that it links to AnyDo and shows tasks is a bonus. If they ever adopt natural language support like Fantastical it would be five stars.

This is, without a doubt, the most beautiful and visually-appealing calendar app out there. But, the sync with Any.Do (the tasks app made by the same company) has a few problems, which makes this app less than perfect. Ideally, calendar and tasks should be in one app together. But, Im willing to put up with two separate apps, as long as they work well together. Unfortunately, in this case, they dont always sync well. If you have more than five or six tasks in a day, Cal doesnt show you what the tasks are. Instead, it makes you open the other app to see them. This is really annoying because I want to be able to see my tasks and my schedule in the same view. Same goes for editing or completing a task. If you want to edit a task or mark it as done, you have to open the other app. It would be nice to be able to do this within Cal. The syncing is also not very smooth. The app crashes from time to time, or it lists all the tasks twice, or it doesnt sync right away. All of these make Cal not a very smooth experience. Overall, this is a beautiful app. If they could only figure out a way to build tasks as part of the app, it would be perfect.

I rarely switch from Apples preloaded apps but this app is even better! There are polite reminders of your upcoming day and it is so much more visually appealing!

Trying to sync both apps just sends me in a loop. Kind of defeats the purpose of using a new calendar app.

It does what its supposed to do without any fuss or bother.

I have tried several calendar Apps and Cal is by far the one I really like. It displays the weekly calendar with events listed under the current day which makes it easy to see what is coming ahead. It also alerts you at the beginning of the day for the coming events.

Love the functionality - the reminders and that it shows FBdays. Also love that it syncs with my other calendars.

Its the most user friendly calender app! It even says Good Morning!

Ive been using this app for a while and I love it. Just one issue that has come up recently. I do not appreciate that every obscure Canadian provincial holiday under the sun has been added to my calendar without my consent. Its cluttering up my calendar for no reason. Please fix!

Beautiful calendar. Very intuitive and efficient. Some minor bugs remain though (sync with the tasks list).

So far I am enjoying how well this app works. Its definitely better than the pre loaded app on my phone however there is one feature I would like to see on iCal vs iOSs and thats the date on the app icon on the home screen. I would like to see it change just like Apples

I like the straightforward, simple approach to managing and getting emails under control. Works very well. Highly recommend it.

I didnt give it 5 stars because it still has a bug with regards to adding people to an event. You cant leave the screen once your in without shutting the app down and starting it up again. Other than that I love it

This is the app Ive been looking for ... Add tasks on the go from phone, email, etc. The ability to share tasks with others and converse about it in one spot is amazing ... And the ability to add attachment makes this app all I need to get it done!

Deleted the app after a day use. Dont care for the background theme, too distracting. Give us the option of no theme and provide us with solid colour instead or our own photos.
