Cal – Shared Calendar, Daily Organizer, Weekly Planner App Reviews

I have only had this app for a short time and so far have not had any issues. It sends me reminders and is user friendly. I would recommend it.

Needs restarting often. Has trouble switching from landscape to portrait. Staff at the local Apple Store said Cal app was buggy and I should find another calendar app. Too bad, it would be a good app if the bugs could be worked out.

Update to my review below. I still love Cal, but one thing that bothers me time and time again is that you cant search for events - I have to click on each day at a time looking for scheduled events. Please add a search option and Ill go back to five stars! I had written a review asking them to fix the bugs from the last update (as did many other people), and they got right on it! All is right in the world again! Love this app - very intuitive, easy to use, wonderful graphics, and it syncs with my calendar on my computer. Whats there not to like? Much better than Apples iCal.

Ive been telling myself for a while that I should start using a calendar, consistently. This one was a winner. I like the layout more than any other one Ive tried. It also syncs with AnyDo, which is also a must have for life organizing skills. There are lots of great calendar apps out there, but this is definitely the one for me... Maybe its the one for you too! Its worth a shot! :D

I have been using this app for a while now. I really love it but there are a few features that do not work in it. Such as notifications and badges. The worst part is customer service does not help. I have sent three emails regarding this issue Over the past 4 months and they have never even responded except for the automated one that gets generated when you send for help. Its a shame because it really has a lot of potential but it is clear they dont care about this product and they have all their attention to any.do

Ive tried many different iOS calendars but this is the only one ive consistently used. I think its because of the clean presentation and how easy it is to enter calendar entries. It shows me what I need to know at a glance.

Hate that you cant change the view between daily, weekly, monthly. Not worth it!

I have devices on multiple platforms so its crucial to have one calendar to sync Google, Apple and Outlook. Cal does the job better than any other without all the bloat of some of the other options out there. The only reasons I dont give it 5 stars? 1) The interface doesnt scale very well on my tablet (its clearly built for a phone), and 2) adding a location to my appointments requires a lot of typing because it does not seem to use location services efficiently. If Im scheduling my next appointment while standing in the dentists office, I dont want to have to look up my dentist by name. If Cal is utilizing google apps, it should already know where I am.

It has major potential however it forces close all the time therefore it is not very productive at all

This is my favorite calendar by far. I love how it has the option to use Waze for Nav, and it put the map and all the details on one sexy layout screen. It makes looking at even the most uninteresting and yucky scheduled items enjoyable. The only reason I gave it 4 Stars is because they havent given me a desktop App counterpart. They do have a nice user submission site where you can vote on different ideas for the app that peoples have submitted, and the desktop app has a lot of votes. HOPEFULLY WE WILL HAVE ONE SOON!

This app keeps crashing when I try to save an event. Its beautiful and I like how it integrates with Anydo. However, it is just not easy to save events so I have to dump them both.

Hard to believe how simple and beautiful this app is... Makes it hard to go back to a plain callender app.

Stupid thing wont even work! Push Start... Nothing happens! Wasted my time.

The app works well for me and I own 2 businesses. Id give it 4 stars if it werent for the fact that the background pics have only white people in them. I suggest if youre trying to make money and reach different markets, at least fake that you arent closed minded and have the token black, Hispanic or Asian in it.....

Its a great app.. When it works- which is most of the time. Except it chooses not to work at the most inconvenient time. Like if Im at the doctor and trying to enter my next appt real quick while Im checking out. Im thinking about trying another calendar app of it keeps this up.

When I go to click on the app it opens up and exits itself. And so I never get to use it. I dont understand whats happening. Ive had to delete and re download it about 2 times now. Please fix it.

I really like this app and dont notice the bugs stated below. It does what is says...

I used to like Cal, but for some strange reason it is not changing automatically to the current date each day i.e. It doesnt show the correct date on the outside of the app. It actually falls behind - very weird. I have to physically update the date each day!
